KUCHING, Sarawak – Two of the seven Filipino films shortlisted for the 2025 ASEAN International Film Festival & Awards (AIFFA) were nominated for Best Film, the festival’s five-member jury announced Thursday night, Nov. 13. Petersen Vargas’ coming-of-age drama “Some Nights I Feel Like Walking” and Sheron Dayoc’s crime drama “The Gospel of the Beast” will battle for the best picture trophy alongside entries from other ASEAN countries.
