Jon Bon Jovi is one proud “Papa” to his first grandchild.

“Immediately, you fall in love,” Bon Jovi, 63, gushed during his Thursday, October 23, appearance on Today. “When we met Jake and Millie’s daughter, it was just immediate, like, ‘That’s my granddaughter,’ and it’s cool, you know?”

Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi announced in August that he and wife Millie Bobby Brown welcomed their first child via adoption. (Bongiovi, 23, and Brown, 21, have not publicly revealed their baby’s girl name or shared a full photo.)

“She won’t be able to walk for at least 10 or 12 years because Papa will be carrying her everywhere she goes,” Bon Jovi quipped, using his grandparent nickname.

After Today interviewer Savannah Guthrie joked that the rocker should get his granddaughter a pair of baby-sized headphones to come to his Forever tour, Bon Jovi (real name John Francis Bongiovi Jr.) concurred.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. I count on it,” he exclaimed, hinting that Brown and Jake might bring their little girl to one of his upcoming concerts.

Jake is one of Bon Jovi’s four children with wife Dorothea Hurley and the “It’s My Life” musician has previously been candid about becoming a first-time grandparent.

“It’s crazy, but great. Wonderful,” Bon Jovi said during an interview on Bunnie Xo’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast last month. “They adopted a girl, we met the baby obviously and immediately that becomes your grandchild. It’s beautiful.”

He added, “I want to see pictures, like, every other day. I’m that pain-in-the-butt guy already and, yeah, it’s cool.”

At the time, Bon Jovi also revealed what it was like welcoming Brown into his family. (The Stranger Things actress married Jake in 2024 after several years of dating.)

“They got married very young, but we blessed it because we get it — you know, they’re sorta mature beyond their years,” Bon Jovi told Bunnie Xo, 45, referring to his own marriage to high school sweetheart Hurley. “She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young. Her and Jake fell in love and we just thought, OK, we’ll support this and it’s working out.”

Brown and Jake have kept many details about their life as a family of three to themselves, though the British actress recently called her little girl the one thing she can’t live without in a TIME interview earlier this month.

“Without her, there’s no him,” Brown told her Stranger Things castmates about her husband and daughter.

Even before welcoming her daughter, Brown had been vocal about her parenthood dreams.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, and you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” Brown said on the “SmartLess” podcast in March. “Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, ‘Baby dolls.’ I wanted to be a mom, just like the way my mom was to me.”

According to Brown, she and Jake spoke about expanding their family during their early romance.

“I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting,” she noted at the time. “My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we kind of stand by, Jake and I, is our energy in the house is the door is always open, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.”

“I had been lusting after it for quite awhile and after I completed active cancer treatment at the end of 2024, I decided to treat myself,” Fishel told Us, adding with laugh, “Plus, the crossbody strap can be worn like a belt so it’s really a belt and a bag for the price of one. Girl math!”

“I have a Samsung S25 Ultra and I absolutely love it,” Fishel said. “I also have Samsung ear buds, and I use them when I’m running errands and editing our “Pod Meets World” podcast.”

Fishel told Us that at the beginning of Dancing With the Stars, she gave each cast member a “silver star keychain engraved with their name, the season number and the date of our first live show,” which she now carries with her everyday. “I also carry the extra copy of my kid’s passport photos because they’re just too cute!” (Fishel shares sons Adler, 6, and Keaton, 4, with husband Jensen Karp.)

Snacks

Fishel doesn’t go anywhere without a snack on deck. “I am obsessed with Skinny Dipped dark chocolate peanut butter cups and I keep some on me at all times,” she told Us. “I also carry around a two liter jug of water and sugar free Liquid IV because electrolytes are so important for hydration.”

Fishel is always prepared for an accident. She keeps bandaids, Advil, Boiron Arnica pellets and Arnicare roll on gel in her bag.

“The medicine I take for cancer treatment makes me bruise super easily and dancing four hours a day means I get a few bumps and scrapes almost daily so I use arnica multiple times a day and it really works,” she explained. Fishel was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024, but shared in January 2025 that she is in remission.

Toys For Her Kids

“I have a WWE Roman Reigns figure at the bottom of my bag and I’ve wanted to take it out but then I think, ‘What if I’m stuck somewhere with both kids and no toys and I’m mad I took this out?’ So, I guess Roman lives there now,” she quipped.

Keys

Fishel told Us that the heaviest thing in her bag is actually her keys, which she attached a small pill container to holding Excedrin in, for her husband who suffers from migraines, along with her car and house key. Fishel also has a key to her mom’s house, “two mailbox keys, plus a key I have no idea what it’s for, a safety deposit key. I also have a tile tracker on my keys so they NEVER get lost.”

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-In a ceremony steeped in tradition and military pageantry, General Dr. Paul Valentino Phiri officially handed over command of the Malawi Defence Force (MDF) to General George Jaffu at Kamuzu Barracks in Lilongwe.

The handover ceremony, marked by a Pull Out Parade, signified the beginning of a new era for the MDF under General Jaffu’s leadership.

During the ceremony, General Phiri symbolically handed over the flag and sword of command to General Jaffu, signifying the transfer of authority.

The event underscores the country’s commitment to orderly transitions and stability within its armed forces.

General Phiri, who has been at the helm of the MDF since July 2023, has had a tenure marked by significant international engagements and efforts to modernize the defence force.

Notably, he led diplomatic missions to the United States, meeting with high-ranking officials at the Pentagon, and strengthening bilateral defence relations with countries like India.

However, Phiri’s tenure was not without controversy, as he faced allegations of financial misconduct and was embroiled in a high-profile lawsuit over the detention of a businessman.

Despite these challenges, Phiri’s leadership was marked by efforts to enhance the MDF’s capabilities and participation in peacekeeping missions.

As General Jaffu takes the reins, he faces the task of navigating the MDF through complex security challenges while maintaining its modernization efforts.

The MDF has been actively engaged in peacekeeping missions and humanitarian efforts, both locally and internationally.

The change in leadership comes at a time when the country is seeking to bolster its defence capabilities and strengthen its security framework.

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Congress Party (MCP) caucus has chosen Peter Dimba as its candidate for Speaker of the National Assembly.

Dimba, defeated Sam Kawale, who had expressed interest in the position.

In a confirmation interview with Maravi Post, Dimba confirmed the decision, saying, “Yes, I can confirm.”

The development comes as the National Assembly prepares to elect its leadership, with various parties likely to nominate their candidates.

As the MCP’s candidate, Dimba will be vying for the Speaker position, a crucial role that requires strong leadership and parliamentary experience.

He was elected as the Member of Parliament for Lilongwe South Constituency in 2020 and has since served in various capacities, including Chairperson of the Legal Affairs Committee of Parliament.

Notably, he resigned from this position in February 2023, citing the futility of fighting corruption in the country.

The Speaker position is a key role that requires building consensus and managing the legislative agenda.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Garcelle Beauvais is revealing her conditions to return to the show.

“Garcelle, is there anyone from Beverly Hills that could leave that would make you consider coming back and, if so, who?” an audience member asked Garcelle, 58, during her appearance on the Thursday, October 23, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Garcelle said, “That’s a very good question,” before answering, “Erika,” with little hesitation, referring to former costar Erika Jayne.

In March, Garcelle announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons.

Grey’s Anatomy found a way to focus on romance — with some help from returning cast members Scott Speedman and Sophia Bush — amid two life-threatening surgeries and a no-sex pact.

During the Thursday, October 23, episode of the hit ABC series, Nick (Speedman) returned alongside girlfriend Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). Viewers got to see Nick interact with Meredith’s son, who seemed to trust him a lot.

Nick and Meredith’s sweet romance moments were refreshing compared to the more complicated situations in the hospital. Nick specifically found himself preparing for a high-risk lung transplant that caused him to be at odds with Winston (Anthony Hill). They were able to successfully save a little boy while Bailey (Chandra Wilson) had to operate on a patient whose cancer ended up spreading to other parts of her body.

Speaking of love lives, Winston clearly shared a connection with Jules (Adelaide Kane) that hinted at something more down the line. Then there was Teddy (Kim Raver), who ran into Cassie (Bush) after the former’s split from Owen (Kevin McKidd).

Speedman’s return comes after he rejoined the cast as a recurring character in season 20 and has remained on Grey’s Anatomy since then. Speedman, 50, originally joined Grey’s Anatomy as a guest star in season 14. He then appeared as a main cast member in seasons 18 and 19 as Meredith’s love interest before taking a break from the show.

“[The fans] have lots of thoughts. I thought it was gonna be a layup, me coming onto the show,” Speedman said on SiriusXM’s The Spotlight With Jessica Shaw in October 2024. “I’m not a big social media guy, but I remember going on after my first episodes debuted with her, and they tease like, ‘There’s this character coming back to the show.’”

He continued: “And the fans, you know, on social media were not … There was a lot of vomit emojis, which I was like, ‘Oh, alright, alright.’”

Speedman noted that all he could do was “laugh at” the public response, adding, “It’s really funny how serious they are about that character, and who’s with that character and who’s not with that character.”

The actor’s guest appearance also comes after Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) chose to take a sabbatical while grieving the death of Monica Beltran (Natalie Morales). Deadline subsequently reported that Scorsone’s break will last until 2026. The outlet noted that the decision to cut back on Scorsone’s appearances came amid a cost-saving measure.

Grey’s Anatomy is already reducing the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of the show’s 18 episodes per season. While some of Grey’s Anatomy‘s consistent stars won’t appear in four episodes each, Scorsone’s absence was doubled.

Following a major character death and some cast hiatuses, Grey’s Anatomy is giving fans what they want by bringing back Jesse Williams as Dr. Jackson Avery.

ABC confirmed the news in a trailer that aired on Thursday, October 23, which showed Jackson back at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. In addition to the familiar face, the sneak peek also teased Jo (Camilla Luddington) possibly going into labor but she isn’t sure — leaving her husband, Link (Chris Carmack), surprised.

Williams, 44, previously reprised the role of Jackson in season 21 alongside his onscreen love interest Sarah Drew, who plays Dr. April Kepner. Viewers tuned in to watch Jackson and April’s love story on the medical drama until Drew was let go from the show in 2018 after nine seasons alongside costar Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins).

“The characters of Arizona and April are permanently woven into the fabric of Grey’s Anatomy thanks to the extraordinary work of Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew,” then-showrunner Krista Vernoff said in a statement at the time. “As writers, our job is to follow the stories where they want to go and sometimes that means saying goodbye to characters we love. It has been a joy and a privilege to work with these phenomenally talented actresses.”

Drew, 45, later told The Hollywood Reporter that Vernoff, 53, explained away her character’s departure as “she felt like April had been through so much and had come out the other side and that she didn’t know what she could put her through again.”

During season 14, April married her ex Matthew (Justin Bruening) and decided to leave her job at the hospital to prioritize her faith. This upset fans who were hoping to see April get back together with ex-husband Jackson.

April and Jackson did reconnect when Williams made his own departure from the series in May 2021. During season 17, Jackson moved to Boston to take over his family’s foundation and April joined him with their daughter, Harriet.

“I directly impacted the dialogue, especially the episode a couple of weeks ago with me going to find my dad. I was directly involved in all of that language,” Williams told Entertainment Weekly at the time about helping create his exit. “I know the character as well as anybody. People come and go — some writers come and go, directors come and go, but I’m that character all day, every day. So it’s just really beautiful for that to be acknowledged, and to feel included. It’s a privilege.”

Jessica Capshaw’s Season 20 Return Is the Latest ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Comeback

The actor praised the writers’ room for allowing him to have a say in how his character would wrap up his time on Grey’s Anatomy.

“I feel really honored by having the opportunity to really form a story with our writers that honors the character and the characters around him, that world, and also has a connection to the real world,” he added. “It really marks a journey for him, particularly the personal element to the role with his father and really digging into self-improvement. That really impacted me.”

Since his time on Grey’s, Williams has found success with various other roles — including his new Prime Video series Hotel Costiera.

“That was fun. I love pushing myself in many ways but in that way [it] was really awesome,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in September. The hardest part was I was exhausted after working long hours and as a producer you always have several more hours of work to do after.”
