“Back on my staircase bullshit again,” the comedian, 44, captioned a series of photos of her posing in a Maison Valentino dress posted to Instagram on Tuesday, November 11.
She added, “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!”
Indeed, Schumer appears to have deleted or at least archived all of her old Instagram posts after recently showing off her weight loss.

I’m talking about sex. So that’s been great and Mounjaro’s been great.”
She added of taking Mounjaro, “And, look, it’s not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or like severe obesity, which most of the internet thinks I have. But I’m having a really good experience with it and I wanted to keep it real with you about that.”

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The World Food Programme (WFP) and the Japanese Government has handed over a Pesticide Residue Testing Equipment Machine to the Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS).
The machine aims at enhancing the country’s sesame testing capabilities and meet international quality standards.
Malawi has been facing a significant challenge in the same industry, with a 70% rejection rate of its exports due to non-compliance with international quality and safety standards.
With this Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (LCMS) Machine, Malawi is expected to address the non-compliance and unlock its potential in the global sesame markets and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
The equipment will enable MBS to conduct advanced analytical tests on sesame products including aflatoxin and pesticide residue testing.
This will boost Malawi’s sesame exports, particularly to Japan, where demand is high.
The Deputy Director General of MBS, Thomas Senganimalunje, stated that the equipment is of great significance in the efforts to achieve quality in agricultural products for trade.
MBS will be able to provide accurate and reliable testing services, ensuring that sesame meets international standards.
About 96 staff members of MBS were trained in advanced on analytical techniques by experts from the National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA).
The training equipped them with the skills and knowledge to conduct complex tests and provide accurate results.
Concurring with the Deputy Director General of MBS, the Director of Industry, Clement Phangaphanga, said that this is a huge opportunity for Malawi.
The machine will benefit traders, as they will be fully certified, leading to fewer rejections of sesame.
WFP Country Director, Dr. Hyoung-Joon Lim, stated that WFP is working to build resilient, inclusive market-oriented agricultural systems that align with Malawi Vision 2063.
“LMCS is capable of detecting ultra-trace pesticide residues with speed and precision.
“This will unlock structured markets and elevate Malawi’s position in regional and global trade, especially for high-value crops like sesame, cowpea, and sorghum,” Dr. Hyoung-Joon Lim said.
On his part, the Ambassador to Malawi, Yoichi Oya, said that sesame is an indispensable food in Japan, Malawi holds tremendous potential to increase sesame production as Malawi has quality of Sesame.

LILONGWE (Maravipost): The spirit of community empowerment came alive in Traditional Authority (T/A) Chadza’s area in Lilongwe on Tuesday, as Chief Chadza pledged to make full use of farming materials donated by Salvation for All Ministries International, led by Apostle Clifford Kawinga.
The generous donation, made during a colorful handover ceremony, included hoes, fertilizer, improved seeds, irrigation equipment, and 6,000 bags of maize.
The support targets three farming groups Sasa, Kachitsa, and Chipwete operating under Chief Chadza’s jurisdiction.
Speaking during the event in Senior Chief Chadza,Apostle Kawinga said his ministry’s vision is to ensure that no Malawian goes hungry, emphasizing the need to empower rural farmers with the tools and resources necessary for sustainable food production.
“Our goal is simple to fight hunger and poverty through practical support. We want to see every household food-secure and able to benefit from their hard work,” said Apostle Kawinga.
The donation brought smiles and hope to the beneficiaries, who described the gesture as timely as they prepare for the new farming season.
Chairperson of Sasa Farming Group, Edna Jere, said the assistance will transform their farming experience.
“In the past, we harvested very little because we didn’t have proper tools. Now, with these materials, we expect to produce more and improve our lives,” Jere shared joyfully.
Another beneficiary, Eda Jere from Mingo Village, echoed similar sentiments, pledging to work hand in hand with fellow farmers to make Apostle Kawinga’s vision a reality.
“We will work together and use these resources wisely so that our community can be an example of progress,” she said.
In his remarks, Chief Chadza thanked Apostle Kawinga for remembering rural farmers, noting that such interventions align with government efforts to promote food security and economic empowerment at the grassroots level.

State authorities should penalize parents and guardians who accuse or abuse their children or wards in the name of witchcraft.
A recent incident in Bayelsa necessitated this appeal. In this case, a police officer reportedly accused the children of witchcraft and horrifically abused them. In a report circulated on social media with photos of the abused children, this officer, Sunday Idey, tortured and inflicted serious injuries on the three children for belonging to a witch coven. The Advocacy for Alleged Witches contacted the police public relations officer and an official of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Bayelsa state, who confirmed the incident. According to the report, Idey is currently in police custody, while the children have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
In a related development, a 42-year-old man reportedly poisoned his three sons, whom he accused of witchcraft. One prophet, George Odoko, of George Odoko Outreach Ministries, claimed that the children were responsible for the man’s illness. In reaction, the man gave the children some poisonous substance, Sniper, and they died. These reports are only a tip of the iceberg of parental abuse of children suspected of being witches.
It is important to note that children of witch-believing parents are endangered. As in the two cases, the children are at risk of being abused. Parents who suspect or accuse their children of witchcraft maltreat them with impunity. They beat, starve, or subject them to violent exorcism. Parents abandon or murder these children.
Unfortunately, these incidents are seldom reported to the police. And cases reported to the police are rarely charged in a court. Suspects are seldom convicted. So perpetrators are not punished. Once arrested, witch hunters bribe and force police and court officials to stop investigating or prosecuting the cases. And in most cases, the police and court officers yield to the pressure. The police and court officials should stop enabling child witch-hunting by parents and guardians.
In the case of Idey, the police have arrested him, and the investigation is ongoing. As in other cases, the matter will likely die at the police level, especially in this case, the perpetrator is a police officer. It is expected to fizzle out soon.
The Advocacy for Alleged Witches urges state authorities to end this culture of impunity and rise to their constitutional duties and responsibilities. Under the Nigerian law, there are provisions, including the child rights law, to prosecute and punish parents who abuse their children in the name of witchcraft. These provisions should be invoked and enforced. AfAW implores the police and the government in Bayelsa state to ensure that the case of Idey is diligently investigated and prosecuted. His conviction will serve as a deterrent to other witch believing parents and guardians.
Children depend on their parents for love and support. Parents are obliged to protect their children from harm and abuse. It is a serious crime for parents to abuse their children. It is a betrayal of the law and the Constitution for state authorities to fail in penalizing these parents. In addition to prosecuting and jailing Mr Idey, the state should take away the custody of the children. The government should make it clear that there are serious consequences for parents and enablers of witchcraft accusations and abuse of children. In the coming days and weeks, AfAW will work with FIDA, NHRC, and other agencies in Bayelsa to educate and enlighten witchcraft believers and support these children and other victims of witch hunts in the state.
