The Enugu Electricity Regulatory Commission (EERC) has commended MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited for launching its Quick Response Team (QRT), describing the initiative as a major step toward improving electricity service delivery across Enugu State.
The customer-focused system, unveiled recently at the company’s corporate headquarters in Enugu, is designed to drastically reduce fault repair time and enhance responsiveness to electricity consumers.
Speaking at the commissioning, EERC lauded MainPower for prioritising service delivery through innovation and proactive planning, noting that the introduction of the QRT aligns with the state’s broader vision for a more efficient and reliable power sector.
The commission particularly praised the Disco for putting in place the necessary logistics and operational structure required to ensure the success of the initiative.
