KINGSTON, Jamaica, Oct. 19, CMC – Several parishes were on Sunday afternoon, rocked by an earthquake with a magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale
The Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, said the epicentre was located eight kilometres south of Buff Bay, in the eastern parish of Portland.
There were reports of the tremor being felt across the Corporate Area, in the eastern parish of St Thomas and the central parish of St Catherine.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
