The Sultanate of Oman enjoys strong bilateral relations with the friendly Republic of Cyprus, which have witnessed significant development in recent years across various fields of cooperation, Muhammad Al-Nahdi, Head of the Mission of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, has said.
According to a press release by the Embassy, on the 24th of November the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, celebrated its National Day in Nicosia.
Alexis Vafeades, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Works of the Republic of Cyprus attended the ceremony and “he remarked the important occasion that gives both side the opportunity to reflect on the enduring friendship between Cyprus and Oman, appreciating the partnership is built on mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision for peace, dialogue, and coexistence in our region and beyond”.

“This year, these efforts culminated in the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding in the areas of health, transport, and maritime affairs, reflecting the joint commitment to further strengthening cooperation between our two friendly countries across multiple sectors” Muhammad Al-Nahdi said, according to the press release.
