The Cyprus issue, migration, security in the Eastern Mediterranean and developments in the Western Balkans were discussed during a meeting on Friday between Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis and PACE President Petra Bayr, according to a post by Greece’s Foreign Ministry.
Gerapetritis reaffirmed Greece’s strong support for the Council of Europe and its steadfast commitment to human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
Greece remains firmly committed to multilateralism and international law, working closely with the Council of Europe’s bodies, mechanisms and Parliamentary Assembly, the Ministry said.
