Niger Tornadoes continued their preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with an entertaining 2-2 draw against Ranchers Bees in a pre-season friendly at the Nasara Stadium, Kofar Doka, Zaria.
The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute through Bashir Usman, whose powerful strike gave the Ranchers Bees goalkeeper no chance.
The hosts responded before the break, with Jude scoring the equaliser to send both teams into halftime level at 1-1.
Niger Tornadoes regained the lead in the 70th minute when Nafiu finished off a well-worked team move.
However, Ranchers Bees replied seven minutes later as Mustapha Jibrin found the back of the net to make it 2-2.
The friendly provided another useful test for both clubs as they continued to fine-tune their squads and tactics ahead of the new NPFL season.
