Nigerian fintech CEO inducted as fellow by Ghana institute

The Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRMP), Ghana, has inducted Benjamin Oyemonlan, chief executive officer of Platnova, as a Chartered Fellow in strategic leadership and public resources management.

The institute said the fellowship recognises contributions to corporate governance, responsible resource management and organisational development.

According to CIPRMP, Oyemonlan’s induction into its 2026 Hall of Fame was based on entrepreneurial leadership, administrative competence and adherence to accountability and transparency in business.

The fellowship places him among professionals cited for impact on strategic leadership and sustainable business practices in Africa.

‘This recognition is a meaningful reflection of the work we are doing at Platnova and the responsibility that comes with building financial infrastructure for businesses,’ Oyemonlan said.

Platnova, which started as a payment platform offering USD accounts, multi-currency wallets and virtual cards, now provides business-focused services including collections, payouts and cross-border transactions.

The investiture was held at Platnova’s corporate office, with representatives of CIPRMP’s Ghana and Nigeria offices in attendance.
