President of the House of Representatives Annita Demetriou will travel to Slovakia on Sunday, October 4, for an official visit at the invitation of President of the country’s National Council Richard Rasi.
According to a House of Representatives press release, during her stay in Bratislava, Demetriou will be received by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini and will hold separate meetings with National Council President Richard Rasi and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Robert Kalinak.
As part of her visit, Demetriou, accompanied by Slovak Health Minister Kamil Sasko, will visit the Children’s Cancer Centre of the National Institute of Children’s Diseases, which operates under the auspices of Pellegrini.
The House President will also visit sites of historical and cultural interest.
Demetriou will return to Cyprus on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 6.
