The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Cyprus Trade Centre in Berlin, participated with a national pavilion at the international fruit and vegetable exhibition ‘Fruit Logistica 2026’, held in Berlin on 4-6 February 2026, providing Cypriot companies with the opportunity to promote their products, network, explore new market trends, and engage with key stakeholders in the sector.
According to a Ministry announcement, the exhibition, considered one of the leading events of its kind, hosted more than 2,600 exhibitors from over 90 countries. Seven companies involved in the production and trade of agricultural products represented Cyprus, showcasing mainly Cypriot potatoes, vegetables, fresh herbs, and citrus fruits. Cypriot businesses maintained a strong presence at this internationally recognised industry exhibition, which once again attracted significant commercial interest and comprehensively highlighted the entire fresh-produce production and supply chain.
As noted in the announcement, the ultimate goal of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry is to ensure that Cypriot businesses maintain continuous access to the global market. Through its participation in ‘Fruit Logistica 2026,’ the Ministry once again provided tangible support to their efforts to expand internationally.
