A governorship aspirant in Oyo State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amofin Beulah Adeoye, on Thursday picked his Expression of Interest form at the party’s national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, formally signalling his intention to contest the 2027 election.
Adeoye took the step hours after the Supreme Court judgment, positioning himself among the early aspirants from Oyo State under the PDP to declare interest in the race.
The legal practitioner said his ambition is driven by his ‘Igba-Otun’ agenda, which focuses on industrialisation, security, healthcare, education, agro-industrial growth and rural enterprise.
According to him, his political aspiration is aimed at advancing inclusive development and fostering equity, justice and sustainable progress in the state.
