Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) has felicitated with Frank Aigbogun, publisher and chief executive officer of BusinessDay Media Limited who clocks 70 years on November 1.
In a congratulatory message signed on Saturday, October 31 by Temi Popoola, group managing director/chief executive officer, NGX Group, he said Aigbogun’s commitment to credible, independent journalism has contributed meaningfully to the evolution of Nigeria’s capital market.
Popoola further said Aigbogun’s leadership had helped shape economic discourse, promote transparency and deepen public understanding of issues critical to national development.
‘Your commitment to credible, independent journalism has also contributed meaningfully to the evolution of Nigeria’s capital market by fostering informed conversations around investment, corporate governance and capital formation,’ Popoola said in the congratulatory message.
Popoola said BusinessDay had become a respected voice in business and financial journalism through Aigbogun’s leadership, adding that his achievements reflected ‘a remarkable legacy of enterprise, leadership and service’.
He also celebrated Aigbogun’s contributions to media entrepreneurship and Nigeria’s economic development, wishing him continued good health, happiness and fulfilment in the years ahead.
