At the celebration of Canada Day on June 4, Ambassador David Hartman said that the relationship with the Philippines is entering a ‘new season,’ marked by deeper partnership, greater ambition, and tremendous opportunities for the future.
The envoy elaborated on the expansion of mutual ties on commerce, defense and security cooperation; flourishing educational and cultural partnerships; and strengthening people connections as his three-and-a-half years of diplomatic work in the country nears its completion.
