Grenada police say their investigations into a fatal boating accident resulting in the deaths of two people over the last weekend are continuing and that ‘further information will be provided as it becomes available’.
In a brief statement, the Royal Grenada Police Force said that the incident occurred at Grand Anse Beach on the islan’s southwest coast on Saturday ‘resulting in the deaths of two individuals’.
The police statement did not provide any further information neither did it identify those killed.
But eyewitnesses say that the two women jumped together from a vessel and came into contact with the propeller with one dying at the scene and the other at the General Hospital.
