The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys shines a light on Steven “Steve” McBee and his family as they run their farm in Missouri — but not everything has always run smoothly for the farmers.

Steve and his ex-wife, Kristi McBee, were married 28 years before his infidelity came to light, leading her to file for divorce. The pair, who share sons Steven McBee Jr., Jesse McBee, Cole McBee and Brayden McBee, separated in 2019.

Despite his personal woes, Steve’s dream of building McBee Farm & Cattle Co. into a massive business continued with the help of his sons. However, in November 2024, Steve pleaded guilty to one count of federal crop insurance fraud, throwing their family and farm into disarray.

“We take it day by day,” Steven exclusively told Us Weekly of the family’s plan in July 2025. “The situation is still ongoing. We’re hoping to have it wrapped up and have some finality to it before the end of the year. That’s the goal, just so we can move on and say, ‘OK, we’ve got this figured out. We can start life again now.’” Steve was sentenced to two years in prison in October 2025.

1998

Steve bought his first tract of land, a 300-acre parcel in Missouri.

2005

After purchasing more land and having “some issues” with a local farmer he hired, Steve took on the role of farming the land himself, according to the company’s website.

2009

Steve added cattle ranching to his resume by expanding the farm to include raising livestock. The company would later add buffalo to their list of farm animals.

2018

Once Steven joined the farm full-time, he created Apex Protein Snacks as an offshoot of the company. Apex sells high-protein meat snacks, including jerky and travel sticks.

2019

“Steve and I were married 28 years. Then I started finding out there was a lot of infidelity,” Kristi revealed during season 2 of The McBee Dynasty, noting that she filed for divorce in 2019.

After their split, Kristi founded her own company, Lan-Tel Communications. “Steve definitely said that I was going to run it into the ground within six months,” she said in a July 2025 episode of the Bravo series, describing her business as “communications, underground construction and [a] concrete company.”

She revealed, “We’ve been able to grow the business three times the size that it was. Little sweet revenge.”

2022

Steven starred on Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer, which premiered in January. On the show, he met Calah Jackson. The couple dated on and off from 2021 to 2024.

That June, the McBees opened their first McBee’s Coffee N’ Carwash in Missouri. As of September 2025, there are eight locations in Missouri and three in Arkansas.

2023

In summer 2023, the family expanded their business and opened the McBee Meat Co. facility in Lamoni, Iowa, bringing their products from farm to table. That same year, the group filmed season 1 of the The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.

2024

The McBee Dynasty premiered on Peacock in March, following the family’s lives as farmers and ranchers. That September, the family launched their “Meet the McBees” podcast.

In October, second eldest son Jesse married his high school sweetheart, Alli McBee, in Missouri. One month later, Steve pleaded guilty to his part in a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme.

Steve was charged in November with one count of federal crop insurance fraud after being accused of falsifying reports about his crop yields and misrepresenting his crop usage. His sentencing took place the following year.

Amid all the turmoil, the McBees celebrated the birth of Cole and girlfriend Kacie Adkison’s first baby, daughter Blair, in December. Blair is the first grandchild of Steve and Kristi.

2025

The McBees expanded their brood in April with the birth of Jesse and Alli’s first baby, daughter Summer.

In June, season 2 of The McBee Dynasty premiered on Bravo. It was renewed for season 3 that October.

As fans learned in more detail about Steve’s legal woes, the family awaited his sentencing, which took place in October. A judge ruled that Steve must serve two years in prison with two more years of supervised release. Us confirmed that Steve was ordered to pay $4,022,124 in restitution. According to court documents, Steve has until 2 p.m. on December 1 to self-surrender.

Ace Frehley, the lead guitarist and cofounder of the rock band Kiss, has died at age 74, Us Weekly has confirmed.

“We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth,” Frehley’s family said in a statement to Us on Thursday, October 16. “We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!”

According to his family, Frehley passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Morristown, New Jersey, following a recent fall at his home.

The news comes 10 days after Frehley announced he was canceling the remainder of his 2025 solo tour dates, citing medical issues.

“Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates,” he wrote via Facebook on October 6.

That came just two weeks after he canceled a September 26 show as he recovered from a fall that landed him in the hospital.

“Dear Rock Soldiers, Ace had a minor fall in his studio, resulting in a trip to the hospital,” his tour manager John Ostrosky wrote via Facebook that same day. “He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time. As a result, he is forced to cancel his performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California on Friday, September 26th.”

Frehley was best known as The Spaceman, or Space Ace, in Kiss, alongside Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Peter Criss. The band grew to prominence in the 1970s, eventually releasing 14 platinum albums and earning a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2014.

Frehley, for his part, released his latest solo album, 10,000 Volts, in 2024 and told SiriusXM in February that he was working on a new album of cover songs titled Origins Vol. 3.

The guitarist was born in The Bronx in 1951, first taking up the guitar as a young teenager. He joined Kiss in 1973 after auditioning for the three other founding members, who had already teamed up. The band released seven studio and two live albums from 1974 to 1979, with their trademark makeup and costumes making them one of the most recognizable bands of the time.

Frehley left the group in 1982 amid creative differences with the band’s remaining members (Criss had been voted out of the band in 1980). He then formed his own band, Frehley’s Comet, before embarking on a solo career. He reunited with Kiss for a reunion tour in 1996.

Frehley married Jeanette Trerotola in 1976, and the two shared daughter Monique, 45. They were still legally married as of 2018, though Frehley had been engaged to Rachael Gordon since 2010.

He and Gordon split in 2019 after 11 years together. Around that same time, Freehley met Lara Cove at a Kiss convention in New Jersey. The two later became engaged but split in 2024.

MANGOCHI-(MaraviPost)-The case involving Victoria Kingston, the former Member of Parliament for Mangochi Central, and two other suspects accused of conspiring to murder Roza Fatch Mbilizi, the newly-elected MP for the constituency, has been adjourned to October 17, 2025.

The adjournment allows the defense team to study the charge sheet.

The defense lawyer, Peter Mwanjasi Mwakikunga, argued that the case should be heard by the Magistrate’s Court in Mangochi District, contrary to the prosecution’s preference for a regional team.

Senior Grade Magistrate Muhammad Chande has adjourned the case to consider the defense’s application and will decide on the court’s jurisdiction.

Victoria Kingston will spend another night at Mangochi Police Station pending the court’s decision.

The case has sparked significant interest in the constituency, with many eagerly awaiting the outcome.

The defense team’s argument for the case to be heard in Mangochi District is based on the need for the court to have jurisdiction over the matter.

The prosecution, on the other hand, is yet to comment on the defense’s application.

WASHINGTON-(MaraviPost)-Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development, Joseph Mwanamveka, is in Washington, D.C., United States of America, attending the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In an interview with Maravi Post, Mwanamveka said Malawi’s delegation is focusing on advancing key national economic priorities, including food security, fertiliser supply, foreign exchange stability, fuel availability, and access to essential medicines.

He emphasized that these engagements are critical in strengthening cooperation with regional and international partners to support Malawi’s economic recovery and sustainable growth.

He said on Wednesday, he met with Adriano Ubisse, Executive Director of the World Bank, and held further discussions with other financial partners to review short-term policy priorities, development projects, and funding requirements.

The minister said on Thursday, 16th October,he chaired the 30th Statutory Meeting of the Constituency, followed by meetings with the World Bank Country Management Unit and the IMF Executive Director.

He said together with the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi(RBM ) Dr. Mafuta Mwale,he attended the World Bank Group Development Committee Ministerial Lunch and Meeting, where Malawi’s economic priorities were discussed with key development partners.

He said the following day, Friday, 17th October, the delegation took part in the IMFC Breakfast and a Ministerial Breakfast with the Zambian Minister of Finance.

Mwanamveka said he also met with the African Director at the IMF and the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Treasury to discuss regional economic collaboration.

Later, his team held meetings with the Rockefeller Foundation and Lazard International Advisory to explore new investment opportunities and development support.

Looking ahead, Mwanamveka said on Saturday, 18th October, the delegation will meet with the East and Southern African Regional Vice President of the World Bank Group to further strengthen cooperation towards Malawi’s development priorities and ensure sustained support for ongoing economic programmes.

“Our mission here is clear, to build stronger partnerships that will help deliver tangible results for Malawians through inclusive growth, stability, and resilience,” he said.

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Peter Mutharika has appointed Roza Mbilizi as the new Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development.

The appointment places Mbilizi at the helm of one of Malawi’s most critical ministries, which oversees food production, irrigation development, and water resource management.

Mbilizi, known for her administrative and leadership experience, is expected to steer the agricultural sector toward enhanced productivity and sustainable growth.

In the same statement, President Mutharika also appointed George Patridge as the Minister of Industrialization, Business, Trade and Tourism.

Patridge’s new role will see him driving the government’s agenda of promoting industrial development, boosting trade, and positioning Malawi as a competitive destination for business and tourism.

According to a media statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet, the appointments were announced through a communiqué signed by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Justin Saidi.

Influencer Emilie Kiser has returned to sharing her life online after the death of 3-year-old son Trigg — but she’s still keeping parts of herself from the cameras.

“I just want to say, you are seeing such a small, small, small sliver of my life right now,” Kiser said in a Monday, October 13, TikTok. “I’m not sharing my kids anymore. Therefore, I’m not sharing Teddy and I’m not sharing Trigg.”

In the emotional video, Kiser defended her decision to not open up about Trigg’s death — at least not yet.

“I’m doing my best and I’m showing a very small portion because I’m not ready to share other things. I’m not ready to talk about other things and that is OK,” she continued. “Those are the things that I’m unpacking in my therapy sessions and with professionals and with my family. Those are not things that I think I should be coming on the internet and unpacking with millions of people.”

Emilie has since opened up about her therapy journey, explaining that she tends to feel “nervous” before her passions but ultimately thinks they are “worth it.”

“Today we just talked about, basically, everything that has happened. It’s obviously been hard. There’s no doubt about that. It’s been really hard to deal with. And then on top of that, dealing with the grief and the sadness and the loss and the literal hole that we feel in our lives,” she said in a September TikTok. “That’s about it. I definitely feel better.”
