Anna Wintour Reacts to ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ Cameo Rumors After Fashion Week

Anna Wintour isn’t ready to button up the speculation surrounding her potential cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2.

The former Vogue editor in chief, 75, addressed the growing movie buzz regarding her possible role in the sequel in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly during the Only Make Believe Foundation Benefit Concert at New York City’s Shubert Theatre on Monday, October 13.

“Well, I think you have to ask the producers that question. They haven’t told me,” Wintour told Us, refusing to rule out the idea at the event hosted by comedian John Oliver.

Fans sent the rumor mill into overdrive after Wintour was seen bonding with Meryl Streep, who portrays fashion powerhouse Miranda Priestly in the movies — the icy, yet poised and polished editor in chief of the fictional Runway magazine. (Wintour is believed to be the famous inspiration behind Streep’s role although that theory has never been officially confirmed).

Anna Wintour ‘Can’t Believe’ Meryl Streep Traveled to Milan for Fashion Week

Wintour and Streep, 76, greeted each other during the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2026 show at Milan Fashion Week on September 27, which Streep attended in character with her costars Stanley Tucci and Simone Ashley, who dressed in D&G ensembles for the brand’s MFW presentation.

“How are you?” Wintour asked Streep in an Instagram video shared by Vogue, as the stylish pair exchanged a hug. “I can’t believe you flew from New York to Milan.”

“This is my first fashion show,” Streep playfully told Wintour. “Not kidding. My first.”

Streep rocked her character’s perfectly styled white hair with a latex camel-colored trench coat featuring a leopard print belt paired with black pants, white sunglasses, a matching clutch and satin pumps.

Wintour, on the other hand, wore a fashion-forward floral print maxi dress with snakeskin heeled boots paired with gold chain necklaces, statement black sunglasses and her signature bob haircut — months after stepping down from her position at Vogue in June.

As Us previously reported, she will continue to serve as the publication’s global editor and the global chief content officer for parent company Condé Nast.

“I think that the fashion industry [was] very sweetly concerned for me about the film, that it was going to paint me in some kind of difficult light … [like] a caricature,” Wintour shared about the movie on The New Yorker’s “Radio Hour” show in September. “But, first of all, it was Meryl Streep, which [was] fantastic. Then, I went to see the film and I found it highly enjoyable and very funny.”

Fans Think ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ Will Stage a Met Gala-Type Event

The month before, Streep was spotted donning an ultra-glamorous red ballgown while filming a scene at what appeared to be a Met Gala-inspired event in August.

Fans will not only see Streep reprise her 2006 role, but also Anne Hathaway as fashionista Andrea “Andy” Sachs and Emily Blunt, who played senior personal assistant Emily Charlton.

The sequel follows Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs,” per Variety.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.

Erin Lichy Says Brynn Whitfield Leaving ‘RHONY’ Was the ‘Right Decision’

Erin Lichy is playing coy about what’s next for The Real Housewives of New York City amid their ongoing hiatus — but Brynn Whitfield leaving the show is set in stone.

“I don’t think you want to get me started here,” Erin, 38, said with a laugh while talking with Us Weekly about Brynn’s exit in June following a controversial season 15 of RHONY. “Let’s just leave it.”

Erin exclusively told Us on Thursday, October 9, while promoting her new book, She’s a Host: An Unbuttoned Cookbook for Elegant Entertaining, “It was definitely the right decision” for Brynn, 39, to step back when she did.

“She’s removed herself,” Erin explained of her former castmate, noting she hasn’t really spoken with Brynn since the season 15 reunion, which aired in February.

Brynn made waves during season 15 of the Bravo series — which was the second season with an all-new cast consisting of Brynn and Erin as well as Jenna Lyons, Racquel Chevremont, Sai De Silva, Jessel Taank and Ubah Hassan — while on a girls’ trip to Puerto Rico.

During the explosive finale, Ubah, 42, claimed Brynn slept with someone to get cast on the show, which led Brynn to share that she had been sexually assaulted in the past. Brynn later claimed that Ubah knew about her traumatic experience and was upset she would make such a crass remark.

Ubah, meanwhile, insisted that she had no prior knowledge of Brynn’s assault and started to break down.

Brynn later told Erin that she didn’t know if Ubah had “clocked it” when she spoke about her trauma during an emotional phone call between them, which caused the rest of the cast to question whether Brynn was lying about her entire conversation with Ubah to begin with.

“You told us that she might not have clocked it and that felt careless,” Jenna, 57, said during the reunion. “Because we had then realized at that moment … the implication.”

Brynn began to cry, saying, “Just because I don’t fing fall on the ground and scream … and cause a scene and say, ‘F you, bitches,’ just because I keep my s*** together, you’re all holding me accountable for every single goddamn word. … When I say something to someone, I assume that they know it.”

Ubah remained adamant that Brynn “never said it,” referring to her sexual assault revelation. However, Ubah and Brynn made amends before the end of the reunion, but the damage was done between Brynn and the rest of the cast.

“That whole thing was so — how are we supposed to all move on from that? It was just a lot. It was too much,” Erin told Us on Thursday, reflecting on the explosive end to the season. “It was heavy.”

Brynn Whitfield Breaks Her Silence on ‘RHONY’ Finale: Everything We Learned

Following the reunion, Brynn confirmed her departure after two seasons.

“After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to walk away from reality TV. For now,” Brynn wrote via her Instagram Story in June, calling her time on RHONY “one of the most fun, chaotic, and magical chapters of my life. It was the honor of a lifetime to help reboot such an iconic franchise.”

Since then, the fate of RHONY has been in limbo as the network has yet to announce season 16.

“We’re going to BravoCon. So, we’ll be there. I think we’ll be just fine,” Erin teased to Us when asked about what’s next. She revealed if the show does come back she wants it to highlight “the true dynamic that we have, which is we have a lot of fun together.”

In the meantime, Erin, who is a mother of four, is focused on the release of her new book.

“I just feel like there’s such a barrier to entry when people are thinking about hosting or having people over, and it seems like so overwhelming to people. And I just want to simplify it,” Erin said of her inspiration for the book. “I think community is so important, especially since covid. I feel like people realize how important it is to be together, and it’s at the forefront of really everything I do. So, I wanted to share like, how I do it easily, while still being beautiful, and it’s just a great part of life.”

She told Us that her “top tips,” including how to get guests to come over — and how to make them leave — are all featured in her writing.

Erin explained, “We always joke that, like, the hardest part is getting people out,” which is why she switches up the timing of her celebrations.

“A brunch, for example, I have a whole chapter basically on brunch, because brunch I love, especially having small kids. They can all play, and everyone gets together, and it’s daytime and it’s easier,” Erin said. “I like to day drink more.”

Jennifer Aniston Turned Down ‘SNL’ Because She Thought She Was ‘Hot S***’

Jennifer Aniston opened up about her decision to turn down an offer to host Saturday Night Live before her Friends fame.

“I always thought I was such hot s***. The story of that is all very confusing,” Aniston, 56, explained on an upcoming episode of Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.

Aniston admitted she was fuzzy on the details, saying, “Honestly, today I’d have to ask Lorne, because I remember I was in New York City and I had a meeting with Lorne Michaels. I ran into [Adam] Sandler and [David] Spade in the room right outside. And I knew Sandler forever.”

Shepard, 50, asked Aniston whether she was friends with Sandler, 59, before becoming a household name for her role in Friends.

Everything the Friends Cast Has Said About Relationship With Jennifer Aniston

“Yes, he was very good friends with Charlie Schlatter, who played Ferris Bueller in the television version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” she recalled about starring in the short-lived series before joking, “So, we met at Jerry’s Deli in, like, 1912.”

Aniston’s preconceived notions about SNL ultimately influenced her decision.

“I don’t know why I had this self-righteous attitude of, ‘I don’t know if women are treated the way they should be treated on this show.’ It’s a very male-dominated [show], I would love to be here if it was in the Gilda Radner day,” she continued. “This is the brain that semi-remembers things that are back that far. Something like that. I can’t remember, but I just remember Friends then happened.”

The actress ultimately hosted SNL in 1999 and again in 2004. Aniston previously rehashed the conversation she had with Michaels, 80, where she initially shut down the offer to appear on the show.

“I was so young and dumb, and I went into Lorne’s office and I was like, ‘I hear women are not respected on this show,’” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2021. “I don’t remember exactly what I said next, but it was something like, ‘I would prefer if it were like the days of Gilda Radner and Jane Curtin.’”

Every ‘SNL’ Host of Season 50

Aniston continued: “It was such a boys’ club back then, but who the f*** was I to be saying this to Lorne Michaels? So, yes, adorably that happened, and I’ve hosted Saturday Night Live a couple of times, and I love it so much.”

Over the years, Aniston referred to herself as “such a young twit” for her conversation with Michaels, sharing on The Howard Stern Show in 2019, “I was like, ‘I think that women need to be treated better here.’ Because it was such a boys’ club. You’re just not the brightest when you’re in your early 20s. I didn’t lecture him, I was just saying what I would hope if I was to do this, what I would hope it to be.”

Saturday Night Live airs on NBC Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Lukas Gage Says Camp Counselor Molested Him: It ‘Killed’ Me to Tell My Mom

Lukas Gage said he found “empathy” for his younger self while writing his new memoir — even if it stirred up difficult memories for him and his family.

One moment in particular was triggering for his mother, when he detailed being molested by a camp counselor in his youth.

“It killed me to hear her so hurt about some of the things that happened to us,” Gage, 30, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of I Wrote This for Attention’s book release on Tuesday, October 14, referring to the moment he had to tell his mom he was forced to perfrom sexual acts in front of a counselor.

“I think, you know, as a mom, I feel like you don’t want to feel like you failed your kids. You just want the best for them,” the Euphoria alum shared with Us. “And there’s so many things that were out of her control, and you can only protect your kids so much.”

While his mom couldn’t protect him from being harmed, Gage said she has always been “amazing” as a parent.

“She took over as a father and a mother, like, she is a bad ass,” he gushed. “I think there was nothing that she could have done to protect me. The world is a crazy, scary place, and you can only protect your kids so much.”

Lukas Gage to Explore Sex, Divorce and More in New Memoir

Despite feeling bad for his mom and her emotional reaction to his trauma, Gage decided to be vulnerable about all parts of his life in his book. That included recounting his uncomfortable encounter with an older camp counselor years prior.

“Suddenly, the tent door unzipped, and we both froze. A shadowy figure poked their face in. As the silhouette came closer, I realized it was the counselor who was always flirting with all the other counselors,” Gage wrote in his memoir. “The handsome Australian in his twenties: the one who exuded a raw, intoxicating masculinity and rugged charm that made him appear a decade older — the very man I longed to be.”

The White Lotus actor recalled having all his clothes on, but feeling like “we might as well have been naked” because of the way the counselor “looked us up and down.”

“I tried covering myself, even though nothing was exposed and there was nowhere for me to go,” Gage wrote, noting he was with a fellow camper named Nina when the counselor “stepped into the tent and zipped the canvas flap behind him.”

Everything the ‘Euphoria’ Cast Has Said About the Show’s Onscreen Nudity

Gage remembered realizing almost instantly that he “wouldn’t get in trouble” for being in the tent with Nina if he chose to “perform” for the counselor.

“He unzipped his pants as he started moving closer. I knew it was wrong as it was happening. It was wrong of him,” the actor wrote. “It was wrong that I was a little turned on, that I felt uncomfortable, that I felt nothing at all. It was wrong that I loved the thrill of doing something forbidden.”

Gage explained that his “skin felt dirty” and his stomach “tensed with fear” but he used his “anxiety and tried turning it into excitement.”

He recalled the counselor touching himself as Gage was instructed to “kiss her harder” and take off his shirt to move their bodies closer together.

“I hesitated, then reluctantly began taking off my shirt. Time began to speed up, and suddenly I wasn’t as frightened anymore. I was no longer present for it. A whole new avatar had emerged,” Gage wrote. “ I was so disconnected from myself — watching, detached, as if I were on my computer screen controlling one of my Sims.”

After some time, Gage remembered the counselor making “a noise of relief” and then he “came on my sleeping bag.”

“When I came back into my body, I was now alone in the same sleeping bag, watching the sun begin to rise. What the f*** happened last night?”

Matthew Underwood Says He Believes in ‘Growth’ After Sexual Assault Story

After writing his memoir, Gage told Us one of the toughest parts was learning “to be honest with myself.”

He explained, “I think it’s really easy to talk about a lot of stuff in your life and kind of make a joke out of it, or, you know, be very surface level with it. But I think like going deep and really being honest with myself, I felt like I understood myself a lot more.”

Gage revealed, “I had a lot of empathy for that younger, impulsive, reckless kid. It was amazing. I feel very grateful that I had that much time to, like, just dig into myself.”

SULOM postpones Ekhaya FC VS Mighty Wanderers

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has postponed the highly anticipated fixture between Ekhaya FC and Mighty Wanderers that was initially scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

The development follows a formal request from Mighty Wanderers, who appealed for the postponement citing player fatigue.

Three of their key players were part of the Malawi National Football Team (the Flames) that traveled to Tunisia for an international assignment and have not had adequate rest since returning.

Adding to the challenge, the Nomads are set to play in the semifinals of the FDH Bank Cup this coming Sunday against Creck Sporting Club at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji, another high stakes encounter that requires full squad fitness and preparation.

SULOM’s Vice General Secretary, Donnex Chilonga, confirmed the development, saying the league governing body had considered the reasons presented by the Blantyre giants before granting the postponement.

“Yes, the game involving Mighty Wanderers and Ekhaya FC will not take place as earlier scheduled. We have looked into the concerns raised by Wanderers regarding player rest and fixture congestion and we have decided to move the game to a later date,” said Chilonga.

He further clarified that all other Super League fixtures set for Wednesday and Thursday this week will go ahead as planned.

The rescheduling of the Wanderers–Ekhaya fixture is expected to be announced soon after consultations with all stakeholders, including broadcasters and match officials.

Football Ibrahim Phiri have since applauded SULOM’s decision, noting that fixture congestion has been a long-standing challenge in Malawian football, especially for top clubs involved in multiple competitions.

Meanwhile football analyst Charles Nyerende said it is surprising that SULOM is rushing against time to finish the league by December, yet the season is supposed to end in February 2026 according to the FAM calendar.

Wanderers are in second place in the Super League after playing 18 games, with 42 points, and are the only team so far that has not tasted defeat.
