Cyprus Paralympic swimmer Karolina Pelendritou secured on Saturday the silver medal in the 100m. breaststroke, in 2026 Para Swimming World Series in Paris.
She set a better record compared to her race a year ago in a similar race, at IDM Berlin, a press release says.
Three-time gold medalist Paralympic champion finished in the final with a time of 1:23.28, while she qualified with 1:23.04.
Last year, in Berlin, she participated only in the 100m. breaststroke qualifying, finishing in 1:24.06.
Russian Daria Lukianenko won the gold medal and Ali Diehl from Canada won bronze.
Later on Sunday Pelendritou will participate in the 50m. freestyle.
