Cyprus ‘strongly condemns’ the bombing attacks in the Al-Hijaz area of Damascus which claimed the lives of civilians and left many others injured, the Foreign Ministry said Saturday.
In a post on X, Cyprus’ Foreign Ministry said Nicosia ‘strongly condemns’ the bombing attacks in the Al-Hijaz area of Damascus which claimed the lives of civilians and left many others injured.
‘We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured’, it said, adding that the perpetrators ‘must be held swiftly accountable’.
Cyprus reaffirms its support to Syria’s stability as essential for regional security, it said.
