The Department of Meteorology issued a double yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures on Wednesday. The warnings cover Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon.
Specifically, the first warning will be in effect from 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. According to the Department, the minimum temperature for the inland areas is not expected to drop below 26 degrees.
As for Thursday, the second warning will be in effect from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., when the maximum temperature in inland areas is expected to reach 40 degrees.
