The Minister of Health, Michalis Damianos, departs Monday for Copenhagen, where he will represent the Republic of Cyprus at the 75th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, taking place from 28 to 30 October 2025.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Health, during the meeting Damianos will take part in discussions with his counterparts from the 53 member states of the WHO European Region, aiming to exchange views and shape common positions and strategies to address current health challenges.
In addition, on the sidelines of the session, the Minister of Health is expected to hold bilateral meetings with fellow ministers and representatives of international organisations, with the goal of strengthening Cyprus’s cooperation in health-related matters.
