Paphos FC and Krasava Ypsonas secured important victories on Sunday, closing the Matchday 17 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan and improving their positions in the standings.
Paphos FC claimed a 2-0 home win over Omonia Aradippou, moving up to second place with 37 points, just two points behind leaders Omonia. Pafos also have a game in hand.
Krasava Ypsonas also celebrated a home victory, defeating Olympiakos 1-0. The result saw Ypsonas draw level on points with Ethnikos Achnas in 12th place and reduce the gap from Anorthosis, Omonia Aradippou and Olympiakos to three points.
