The Future of Integrated Planning in Cyprus
The University of Cyprus hosts a roundtable discussion on integrated planning and the challenges of creating resilient, inclusive and sustainable cities
The Society and Urban Form (SURF) Lab of the Department of Architecture at the University of Cyprus, is organizing the roundtable discussion titled ‘The Future of Integrated Planning in Cyprus’, to be held on Monday, 17 November 2025, at 7:00 p.m., in Room A009, Department of Architecture, University of Cyprus, 75 Kallipoleos Avenue, Nicosia. The event is organized within the framework of the InPlaLabs research project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission.
The roundtable will bring together experts from academia, government, practice, and civil society to discuss how integrated planning can address key challenges such as climate resilience, mobility, and social inclusivity in Cyprus. Participants will also explore barriers to implementation and ways to strengthen collaboration across sectors to enable more participatory, evidence-based, and effective planning practices.

The roundtable will serve as an open platform for dialogue between professionals, policymakers, and students, aiming to identify pathways for more integrated and collaborative approaches to planning in Cyprus.
The event is part of the SUCY Lecture Series, organized by the Department of Architecture, and will be held in English. Attendance is open to the public.
