DIMO expands Bosch Diesel Service network with new Kurunegala Facility

DIMO has expanded its specialised after-sales network with the opening of a new DIMO Diesel Lab branch in Kurunegala, bringing fuel injection pump repair and diagnostic services of the Bosch diesel service network closer to customers in the North Western Province and surrounding regions.

Using Bosch diagnostic equipment, genuine spare parts, and internationally recognised repair standards, the new facility operates as part of Bosch Diesel Service Workshop network, providing diesel injection pump repairs and diesel injector repairs. The workshop brings together trained technicians who deliver accurate diagnostics and reliable repair solutions for diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

DIMO Chief Operating Officer – Automotive Engineering Solutions Mahesh Karunaratne said, ‘A vital aspect of the value we provide to our customers is after-sales service. The DIMO Diesel Lab’s opening in Kurunegala broadens our nationwide service network and provides customers in this significant economic region with quicker access to specialised diesel fuel injection knowledge supported by Bosch’s global standards. By making world-class diesel fuel pump repair solutions more accessible, we are helping customers keep their operations moving efficiently while fuelling the dreams and aspirations of communities and businesses that depend on reliable transport, agriculture, and industrial machinery.’

Bosch Sri Lanka Managing Director and Country Manager for Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives Sandeep Kamat added, ‘Bosch’s global diesel servicing standards are becoming more widely available throughout Sri Lanka because of our partnership with DIMO. In order to provide high-quality repairs that enhance the performance, reliability, and longevity of diesel fuel injection systems, the new Kurunegala workshop combines cutting-edge diagnostic technology, genuine Bosch parts, and experienced technical expertise.’

The new facility was officially inaugurated in the presence of DIMO Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Gahanath Pandithage together with representatives from Bosch and members of DIMO’s management and staff. The Kurunegala branch is ideally situated to service a high concentration of commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and industrial fleets, given its location within one of Sri Lanka’s major commercial and transportation hubs. The new facility reduces travel time, minimises equipment downtime, and increases operational efficiency by offering specialised diesel repair services closer to customers in the region.

The Kurunegala branch’s opening is another step in DIMO’s continuous efforts to expand its nationwide after-sales network, helping customers maintain the optimal performance of their diesel-powered vehicles and equipment while increasing accessibility to fuel injection pump repair services under the Bosch Diesel Service network.
