Inaugural Law-Medical Football Encounter on Sunday

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka together with the Sri Lanka Medical Association will host the Inaugural Law-Medical Football Encounter on Sunday, 26 April 2026 at Police Park, commencing at 3.30 p.m. This Encounter is organised in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Lawyers’ Football.

This landmark sporting event marks a significant step in fostering camaraderie and strengthening professional ties between members of the legal and medical fraternities in Sri Lanka. The encounter aims to promote goodwill, teamwork, and mutual understanding beyond the respective professional spheres.

Bar Association of Sri Lanka President Rajeev Amarasuriya said: ‘This inaugural encounter represents more than just a game of football; it is an opportunity to build lasting relationships between two vital professions that serve the public. We look forward to strengthening this partnership through such meaningful engagements.’

Sri Lanka Medical Association President Dr. Manilka Sumanathilaka said: ‘Sport has a unique ability to unite people across disciplines.
