Katsina State governor, Dikko Radda, has signed the state’s N828.58 billion 2027 Appropriation Bill into law after its passage by the state assembly.
Speaking during the signing ceremony at the Government House on Wednesday, Governor Radda commended the State House of Assembly for the speedy consideration and passage of the bill.
Radda urged all implementing agencies to ensure prompt execution of projects and programmes, stressing the need to focus on priority areas that will directly improve the lives of the people.
The budget comprises N190,726,262,820.44 for recurrent expenditure and N637,852,581,271.03 for capital expenditure.
The Speaker also reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting the APC-led administration in delivering democratic dividends.
He called on residents of the state to continue supporting the government to ensure the successful implementation of its development agenda.
