Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma says he is expanding a grassroots media campaign to secure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Speaking on Tuesday in Abuja, RHA Director of Logistics, Shehu Bala Usman, disclosed that the group is launching a public enlightenment campaign, including weekly television broadcasts scheduled to air in the coming days.
‘It’s an effective use of digital and new media platforms to enlighten the general public on the Federal Government’s policies, counter misinformation, and connect the administration’s reform narrative with voters at the grassroots,’ Usman said.
The media strategy comes on the heels of calls by a coalition of legal practitioners urging Wike to cease personal attacks on the Imo governor, warning that the feud risks creating conflicts of interest and disrupting the coordination of President Tinubu’s campaign.
Usman noted that the initiative represents a broader strategy by Governor Uzodimma to deploy modern media as a primary engine for political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing a national mobilization retreat in Abuja earlier this year, Uzodimma warned that poor communication leaves government policy open to distortion and misrepresentation.
He urged party supporters to bridge the gap by taking the administration’s achievements directly to citizens.
