The Energising D e v e l o p m e n t (EnDev) program, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fr I n t e r n a t i o n a l e Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, recently hosted a ‘Knowledge Dissemination Workshop on EnDev’s 16Year Journey’. The event brought together government officials, private sector representatives, development partners, NGOs, and academia to celebrate EnDev Bangladesh’s longstanding contribution to expanding access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy. Since its inception in 2009, EnDev Bangladesh, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources (MoPEMR), has reached over four million people across the country with modern energy solutions. The program’s interventions have improved energy access for rural, peri-urban, and underserved communities, contributing significantly to Sustainable Development Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy.
