The founding chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande, has lost his Ila local government area to the candidate of the Accord Party, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
According to the results declared by the collation officer for the local government, Adeleke’s Accord Party emerged victorious in Ila LG with 16,211 votes, while Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) got 12,934 votes.
ADC came third at his local government, polling just 259 votes.
Earlier, Tribune Online reports that the former Osun State governor won his polling unit 12, Ward 4, in the Atogbade area of Ila-Orangun after the APC polled 181 votes while the Accord got 121 votes.
