It was a celebration of royalty, culture and high society as an impressive gathering of traditional rulers, political heavyweights, captains of industry, friends and associates converged on Oyo to witness the installation of former banking executive, Kazeem Adeduntan, as the new Balogun of Oyo.
The colourful ceremony, which attracted distinguished guests from different walks of life, marked a significant moment in the life of the accomplished banker and corporate leader, who was honoured for his remarkable achievements and contributions to society.
Dressed in an array of exquisite traditional attires, guests added glamour and colour to the historic occasion, as the ancient city of Oyo became a meeting point for prominent personalities from the corporate, political and social circles.
Adeduntan’s emergence as Balogun of Oyo also marked a new chapter in the history of the revered title, following the passing of his predecessor, the late politician and elder statesman, Dr Omololu Olunloyo.
The new Balogun, a respected figure in Nigeria’s financial and corporate landscape, received warm felicitations from guests who described his elevation as a fitting recognition of his accomplishments, leadership qualities and commitment to the development of society.
