Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, received an outpouring of prayers and goodwill from mothers and families who benefited from her food donation in Lagos.
The actress, who celebrated her birthday on September 5, chose to mark it in a different way by bringing relief to women and families facing food insecurity through a giveback initiative held last Thursday.
The outreach, organised in partnership with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative under its Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), saw beneficiaries receive food items and other essential provisions.
For many of the mothers who attended the programme, however, the gesture went beyond the food supplies. They showered Abraham with prayers and heartfelt appreciation, expressing gratitude for remembering families in need as she celebrated another year of her life.
