The ongoing feud between Nigeria’s iconic music duo, P-Square, and their older brother, Jude Okoye, who was also their former manager, has taken another dramatic turn. Fresh revelations from Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P, have further intensified the family crisis.
This controversy has dominated social media discussions, especially after Peter’s accusations were met with counter-responses from his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), and Jude.
In the latest development, Peter released what he is referring to as Part 6 of his video series addressing the family dispute.
Peter, also known as Mr P since their separation, announced the new birthday celebration in April, 2026. He stated that he no longer wishes to share the same birthday as his twin brother. Although both he and Paul were born on November 18, Peter has decided to celebrate his birthday on November 30 from now on.
‘Our actual birthday is November 18, but I want to tell all my fans that I no longer want to celebrate on the same date as my twin brother,’ Peter said.
Reaffirming his decision, Peter, in a recent video, alleged that in previous years, Paul would hold separate birthday celebrations with his friends before later visiting him because they lived in the same house. To avoid further tension, he said he often left the house or travelled whenever November 18 approached.
‘Before now, Paul would celebrate with his friends and later come to my place because we lived in the same house. To avoid creating more issues, I usually left the house or travelled around that period,’ he stated.
Peter said he is fully aware that changing his birthday celebration date may require updating his official records, but insisted that he had made up his mind.
‘I want to formally inform all my fans that I have dropped November 18 as my birthday. From now on, I will celebrate my birthday on November 30. I know it will require updating my documents, but that is the decision I have made,’ he declared.
Interestingly, Peter also disclosed that he has forgiven both his twin brother, Paul, and their elder brother, Jude, over everything that transpired. He said he has equally forgiven himself, but maintained that forgiveness does not erase the reality of what happened.
‘I have forgiven them. I have forgiven my twin brother, my elder brother, and I have also forgiven myself. But forgiveness does not change the facts of what they did to me,’ he said.
Peter further revealed that Jude has served him with another court process seeking to stop him from performing P-Square songs, allegedly claiming that he was the one who established the group and therefore has the authority to prevent Peter from performing the songs.
The latest revelations have sparked fresh reactions across social media, with many fans expressing disappointment that the once-celebrated bond between the twin brothers continues to deteriorate in public.
