Barcelona sporting director Deco has explained why the club preferred Anthony Gordon to Marcus Rashford when strengthening their squad during the summer transfer window.
Rashford scored 14 goals in all competitions during his 12-month loan spell at Barcelona last season, helping the club win La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
Barcelona had an option to sign the Manchester United forward permanently for £30.3 million (35 million euros), but decided against extending his stay.
The 28-year-old subsequently returned to Old Trafford.
