Charina Carmen Josol: The crown she wears is purpose

Charina Carmen Josol is not just a familiar face from the Hansel TV commercial with her son Gerard. She is a woman Filipinas aspire to become: Resilient and soft. Ambitious yet grounded. Creative and full of compassion. A woman who leads with purpose, faith, and grace.

A devoted mother to her 11-year-old son and a loving wife to her pilot husband, Charina stands as a reminder that modern women can embrace many roles without losing themselves.

She carries all her crowns — motherhood, marriage, music, artistry, entrepreneurship, service – with balance and intention.

But behind the elegance is a story of loss, faith and courage. Before she earned her international beauty title, Charina went through the deep pain of losing her beloved sister, Peachy. Instead of letting grief break her, she allowed it to shape her.

This love transformed into purpose and became the heart of her advocacy foundation, Circle of Hope and Care, an initiative dedicated to empowering women, uplifting the youth, and supporting humanitarian efforts.

For Charina, service is not an obligation. It is her mission. Today, she shares her calling through her many talents. As a recording artist, composer, and singer, Charina uses her music as a form of healing not just for herself, but for others.

Her debut single ‘Carry On’ — available on Spotify and 22 digital stores worldwide — carries messages of resilience, faith, and hope. It is a quiet anthem for those experiencing heartbreak, struggles, and silent battles. Her music is personal, often inspired by her own prayers, experiences, and emotional journeys.

‘When I sing, I pray. When I compose, I heal. And when I perform, I serve,’ she shares. ‘Success only becomes meaningful when it becomes a blessing to others.’

Beyond music, Charina is also a model, entrepreneur, Youtuber (Charina JC), and advocate who uses her voice and platform to champion kindness, empowerment, and faith.

There’s more in store for her in 2026, including an album with 12 originals songs, and a track dedicated to her son.

On February 8, she will be featured as a model and singer with Manila’s reknowned fashion designers in the show “Primera Season XVI with Casa De Moda.” On Feb. 21, she will be at London Fashion Week, while on Feb. 27 at The Music Museum, she will be honored as one of the 2026 Outstanding Men and Women Philippines. In March, she will headline a benefit concert titled “The Advocate Songstress and her Mission.”
