Twenty-eight students from the Sto. Tomas National High School in La Union were brought to medical facilities on Thursday morning after experiencing dizziness and anxiety during a magnitude 4.4 earthquake that struck the province. According to a report from the provincial government, five students were referred to the La Union Medical Center for further observation.
The students reportedly panicked when the school buildings began to shake during the tremor, which struck earlier in the day.
All students are now reported to be in stable condition, the report added.
