Bela Padilla reunites with ex-boyfriend Norman Bay, denies reconciliation

Bela Padilla recently reunited with her ex-boyfriend Norman Bay during a trip to Greece but clarified that they did not rekindle their relationship.

Padilla’s recent Instagram post featured photos from her trip, including one with her Swiss-Italian ex-boyfriend. In the photo, the actress’ right arm was placed on Bay’s shoulders while her other arm was wrapped around her other male friend.

‘Flew to Greece for a quick trip with my London constants and also my nephew, to watch ‘100 Tula Para Kay Stella’ and ‘100 Awit Para Kay Stella. ‘ We had great food, wine, and company and made the most out of our four days there,’ she captioned the post.

In the comments section, netizens asked Padilla if she and Bay had gotten back together, which the Filipina star directly responded, ‘No.’

The ‘100 Tula Para Kay Stella’ actress explained that she and Bay were mature enough to hang out together without having to rekindle their romance.

‘POV: You’re mature enough to hang out, so it’s okay to invite each other to big events,’ she replied to another netizen.

Padilla and Bay first met in 2017 while she was filming ‘Meet Me in St. Gallen’ in Switzerland.

The couple went public about their relationship in 2020, with the actress posting on social media, calling Bay ‘the one I met in St. Gallen.’

The pair’s relationship spanned about four to five years until Padilla confirmed in August this year that they had decided to part ways, citing her relocation back to the Philippines as a major factor.

In a later interview, Padilla said the breakup resulted from a mature discussion about life goals, recalling, ‘I asked him about his plans for the next five to ten years. Do you see yourself moving here (Philippines)? And he very bluntly said no.’

Padilla briefly moved to London to pursue acting and writing, then returned to the Philippines to resume her full-time career. She recently starred in the sequel ‘100 Awit Para Kay Stella.’

Aside from her work as an actress, Padilla made her directorial debut with the film ‘366’ in 2022. She also wrote the screenplay for Joyce Bernal’s film ‘Last Night,’ starring Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual.
