Motorists will have to brace for another round of gasoline price increases on Tuesday, while diesel products will see a slight reduction.
In an advisory, Shell Pilipinas said gasoline prices would increase by P1.90 per liter.
Kerosene will also rise by P3.30 per liter.
Diesel, meanwhile, will have a price drop of P1.30 per liter.
Other oil firms have yet to announce their price adjustments.
In a statement late last week, Jetti Petroleum Leo Bellas said the potential price increases for October 6 to 12 could be attributed to the continued supply disruption worries due to the conflict in the Middle East.
China’s decision to suspend exports of oil products to markets beyond Hong Kong and Macau likewise fueled ‘fears of worsening global product shortages,’ Bellas said.
