Celebrities including Kim Chiu, Maris Racal, and Maloi of BINI have taken to social media to urge compassion following the death of content creator Emman Atienza, whose passing has sparked renewed conversations about cyberbullying and mental health.
Chiu took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Oct. 24, to remind her followers about the importance of empathy amid today’s culture of harsh judgment.
‘The world doesn’t need more opinions or harshness, it needs more hearts that choose to understand. More people who choose peace over pride, empathy over ego. Please, spread kindness,’ Chiu wrote, adding ‘RIP Emman Atienza.’ She said she only knew Atienza through clips she had seed online.
