Despite the hot and humid weather, visitors continued to flock to the Manila South Cemetery on Monday, All Souls’ Day.
The Manila Police District recorded over 2,200 visitors inside the cemetery as of 10 a.m. on Monday, significantly lower than the 22,000 visitors recorded on Nov. 1.
The cemetery strictly prohibits pets inside the cemetery, as well as loud speakers, alcoholic beverages, illegal weapons, cigarettes and vapes.
All types of vehicles, including e-bikes, bicycles and motorcycles, are also prohibited from entering the cemetery from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.
