Both Lines 1 and 2 of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) will be operating on normal hours for the upcoming All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) and Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said separately.
LRTA, in a post on its social media pages, said that for Undas 2025, LRT-2’s operations would remain normal – with the first trip leaving Recto and Antipolo Stations at 5:00 a.m., while the last trip leaving Recto at 9:30 p.m., and Antipolo Station at 9:00 p.m.

LRMC, in a separate tweet, said the first trip would depart from Dr. Santos Station in Parañaque City and Fernando Poe Jr. Station in Quezon City at 5:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays.
November 1 and 2, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, fall on Saturday and Sunday.
The last trip, meanwhile, would leave Dr. Santos Station at 9:30 p.m., and Fernando Poe Jr. Station at 9:45 p.m.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr), which manages the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), also said that the rail system that runs parallel to the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue will operate regularly.
‘The MRT-3 will implement regular weekday and weekend operating hours for Undas 2025 to continue serving commuters who use the trains to go home for the occasion,’ DOTr MRT-3 said in its Facebook page.
‘The first trip of the train is at 4:30 a.m. from the North Avenue Station and 5:05 a.m. from the Taft Avenue Station. For the last trips, it will be at 10:30 p.m. for the North Avenue Station, and at 11:09 p.m. for the Taft Avenue Station on October 31; 9:30 p.m. for the North Avenue Station and 10:09 p.m. for the Taft Avenue Station by November 1-2,’ it added.
However, DOTR MRT-3 also said that there would be a scheduled preventive maintenance at the escalator inside Ortigas Station, particularly the one near the platform area on the northbound side.
‘There would be a scheduled preventive maintenance for an escalator at the Ortigas Station (platform area – Northbound) from 11:00 p.m. of October 30 up to the morning of November 1,’ the office said.
‘This is for the replacement of rubber handrails of the said escalator,’ it explained.
The MRT-3 management is appealing for understanding regarding this temporary delay in the operation of the facility.
On Monday, MRT-3’s management said that it will be on heightened security alert from October 30 to November 4 in light of the holidays.
‘MRT-3 will raise its security to heightened alert from October 30 to November 4 to ensure passengers’ safety during the upcoming Undas,’ the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera also said that the LRT-2 is on alert despite an expected decrease in the number of passengers.
