A magnitude 4.5 earthquake shook the waters off the coast of Maitum, Sarangani, on Sunday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The earthquake was recorded at 7:54 p.m., 38 kilometers southwest of Maitum, Phivolcs said.
According to the Phivolcs’ data, the tectonic earthquake had a 10-kilometer depth of focus. Phivolcs also reported the following instrumental intensities:
