The northeast monsoon may continue to affect Northern Luzon, while the easterlies may prevail over the rest of the country on Friday, Nov. 6, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 p.m. weather advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that the northeast monsoon, or amihan, may continue to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.
Pagasa said that no significant impact is expected during these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the easterlies, or winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, may cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas and Caraga.
Likewise, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in the affected areas during moderate to at times heavy rains.
As of 2 p.m., no low pressure areas are being monitored inside the Philippine area of responsibility, according to the weather bureau.
