On Day 23 of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, the prosecution is expected to present its first reserved witness, Police Maj. Jovelyn Magay, with testimony expected to focus on the alleged misuse of confidential funds by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
Magay is one of two reserved witnesses the prosecution has lined up for Article I of the Articles of Impeachment, which centers on Duterte’s alleged misuse of confidential funds.
