The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA, has revealed that Africa is expected to experience a lunar eclipse.
The announcement, made vis the administration’s website, explained that the eclipse will start on Friday in Africa at 9:23pm, ET, when the moon first enters the outer part of earth’s shadow till 10:33pm, ET, when the earth’s shadow starts to envelop the lunar surface, appearing to take a ‘bite’ out of the lunar disk.
‘Aug. 27-28, 2026, partial in Americas, Europe, Africa, Western Asia,’ NASA wrote.
The eclipse is expected to peak at 12:12am, ET, and end at 3:01am, ET.
