Traditional rulers from across Southwest Nigeria are set to convene in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on November 19, 2026, to unveil a proposed re-election blueprint for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The conference, organised by the Southwest Nigeria Baales Forum, is scheduled to hold at Oduduwa House, the palace of the Ooni of Ife.
According to the organisers, the gathering will bring together traditional rulers, political stakeholders, government representatives and private-sector leaders to discuss electoral mobilisation and regional development.
