The government will offer 100-baht weekday travel vouchers to boost local tourism income, deputy government spokeswoman Lalida Persvivatana said on Sunday.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand and more than 170 operators are preparing the “100 Baht Travel Across Thailand” campaign for Thai tourists and foreign residents.
It pairs operator discounts with an online “Shock Deals” promotion selling 100-baht vouchers on Tuesdays from Dec 15 to Feb 9, 2027, for Monday-to-Thursday trips.
Ms Lalida said the 100-baht price applies only to Shock Deals and involves no cash handouts.
