Troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA have rescued three kidnapped victims in the Sakaba Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
Troops rescued the victims during an operation in the villages of Makuku and Dankolo in the local government area.
Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Joseph Osoba the Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for the 8 Division Nigerian Army / Sector 2 of Operation FANSAN YAMMA said this morning that troops rescued two victims at Makuku and found the third at Dankolo.
The rescued victims were identified as Aisha Aminu 46; Sumayya Aminu 27; and Nana Abbas 15.
After the operation the Chairman of Sakaba Local Government Area handed the victims over to the District Head of Dirindaji Alhaji Usman Muhammad.
The operation was completed without incident according to the statement.
The troops reaffirmed their commitment to protecting lives and property in the area.
