Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has unveiled 50 vehicles donated by Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, to boost the campaign activities of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State.
A statement by the State Director-General, Media and Publicity, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa said the vehicles were presented in Kano under the auspices of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement to support mobilisation across the 44 Local Government Areas of the state.
Unveiling the vehicles, Governor Yusuf said they would be distributed to the 44 local government areas to facilitate grassroots engagement and enhance the party’s mobilisation drive.
He noted that effective mobility was critical to political campaigns as it enables party officials to reach communities across the state.
The Governor added that his administration remains committed to implementing infrastructure and other development programmes aimed at improving the welfare and living standards of Kano residents.
Speaking on behalf of the donor, Chief Pondi Kestin, who represented Chief Ekpemupolo, said the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement was established to promote awareness of the policies, programmes and projects of the Federal Government.
According to him, the movement is focused on grassroots engagement and sensitising Nigerians on government initiatives, adding that it would sustain its mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
