The Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide is set to hold its 53rd annual Taborrah convention, a period dedicated to fasting, prayers, worship, and spiritual renewal.
Themed ‘Good Success,’ this year’s convention will be held between Wednesday August 19 and Saturday August 29, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. every day at the church’s headquarters in Mende, Maryland, Lagos.
In a statement signed by Abosede Babajide, chairperson. Taborrah committee (Lagos chapter), the church stated that the convention will provide an opportunity for worshippers to seek divine direction, deepen their faith and experience spiritual strengthening.
The annual Taborrah Convention is the flagship international gathering of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide, held across the ministry’s parishes in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
According to Babajide, the convention will bring together members, ministers, families and worshippers for a season of fervent prayer, sound biblical teaching, prophetic ministration and spiritual renewal.
She added that the convention will foster deeper fellowship and spiritual growth across the global church community. ‘Members of the public, families, church members and friends of the ministry are invited to attend the 10-day programme.’
She disclosed further that speakers and ministers for this year’s convention include Ernieola Olusoga, FunmiSax Obidahunsi, expected to minister in songs; Abiodun Adebayo; Adekunle Adekoya; George Odjeni (host pastor), and Theophilus Oluwasanu Olabayo, the Primate/ founder and General Overseer of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide, among other ministers.
