Meghan King and Jim Edmonds’ Relationship Timeline: From ‘RHOC’ to Divorce

Love conquers all? Not so much. Meghan King and Jim Edmonds faced cheating allegations, fertility struggles and Bravo cameras before their marriage fell apart in 2019.

The former couple tied the knot in 2014. Shortly after their nuptials, King, who is 14 years younger than Edmonds, joined the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County. The couple went through IVF to welcome their daughter, Aspen, in 2016, and twin sons, Hart and Hayes, in 2018.

King and Edmonds split in November 2019, four months after the former baseball center was accused of being unfaithful to the reality star, which he denied. Their divorce was finalized in May 2021, but they continued to have ups and downs through the years, as King lost custody of their kids in 2025 after an investigation by Child Protective Services, Us Weekly exclusively reported.

Pierson Fode Is Us’ Guy We Googled Shirtless This Week

We’re all familiar with the internet boyfriends — you have your Glen Powells, Jacob Elordis, Timothée Chalamets and beyond — but Us Weekly has our eyes on a more underground group of swoon-worthy rising stars.

They may not always have the lead role, be the team captains or have millions of Instagram followers, but something about these individuals catches our attention and has Us googling them shirtless for more.

Sure, Jalen Hurts is all the rage, but the Eagles’ run to the Super Bowl championship suddenly had Us drooling over Saquon Barkley’s “Saquads” and tuning into the Big Game.

And yes, John B. (a.k.a. Chase Stokes) is the obvious crush on Outer Banks, but series villain Drew Starkey’s nuanced and erotic performance in Queer had Us looking at the actor in a whole new light.

Tigers beat Kamuzu Barracks in TNM Super League

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Mighty Tigers on Wednesday afternoon braved a heavily waterlogged Mpira Stadium in Chiwembe to claim a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Kamuzu Barracks in a TNM Super League match marked by persistent rains.

Earlier in the day, the state of the pitch had raised concerns as officials were seen pushing away water from the drenched surface while match organisers installed commercial boards under rainfall.

Players from both teams were forced to delay warm-ups and remained in the dressing rooms as the situation gradually stabilised.

Despite the soggy conditions, the match kicked off as scheduled, with Tigers showing early intent.

By the 2nd minute, they had already won their first corner, and moments later Bakali Osman fired a powerful free-kick over the bar from just outside the penalty area but Kamuzu Barracks survived those early scares.

The visitors responded with their own corner in the 12th minute as rains continued pouring, though they struggled to capitalise.

Tigers eventually found the breakthrough in the 16th minute when Greyson Msowoya connected beautifully to a delivery from Masambiro Kalua, sliding the ball past goalkeeper Hastings Banda to make it 1–0.

From then, the match became a battle of determination.

Zeliet Nkhoma was a constant threat for KB, pushing relentlessly for an equaliser but the Tigers’ defence remained composed.

A dramatic moment came in the 43rd minute when KB’s goalkeeper handled the ball outside the box, giving Tigers a free-kick, while bench player Peter Mughogho received a yellow card for confronting the assistant referee.

In the second half, Tigers nearly doubled the lead in the 48th minute when Msowoya set up substitute Precious Kwalenga but KB keeper Hastings Banda reacted brilliantly to deny the effort.

KB made several substitutions to bolster their attacking power, but Tigers continued to look dangerous on the break while defending with discipline.

Both teams endured more stoppages as the soaked pitch made play difficult.

Tigers earned multiple corners but failed to convert, while KB’s hopes remained pinned on lone marksman Zeliet Nkhoma, whose efforts were repeatedly kept at bay by goalkeeper Lucky Tizoola and a resolute Tigers backline.

As the clock ticked towards full-time, both sides continued making tactical changes.

Tigers’ coach Trevor Kajawo introduced fresh legs to preserve the narrow lead, while KB sought one last push for an equaliser. After three added minutes, the referee blew the final whistle, confirming Tigers’ 1–0 triumph.

Speaking after the match, Tigers’ coach Trevor Kajawo expressed satisfaction, saying his players understood the importance of the fixture as they continue fighting to move away from the relegation zone.

On the other hand, Kamuzu Barracks’ coach Nicholas Mhango accepted defeat, saying one critical mistake cost them the match.

However, Mhango remained optimistic about their ambition to finish in the top eight.

Kamuzu Barracks remain 7th on the log with 35 points from 25 matches, while Mighty Tigers move to 26 points from the same number of games on position 12.

Former Attorney General Chakaka Nyirenda suspended from Reserve Bank of Malawi

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda, the former Attorney General of Malawi, has been suspended from his position at the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM), where he served as Director of Legal Services before being seconded to the AG’s office.

The reasons behind the suspension are yet to be disclosed.

According to information gathered by Maravipost, Chakaka Nyirenda was seconded from the RBM to serve as AG, a position he held until a few weeks ago.

As AG, Chakaka Nyirenda was involved in several high-profile cases, including the termination of a multi-billion kwacha contract with Techno Brain Global FZE for the upgrade of the passport issuance system and introduction of an E-passport.

The suspension comes amid ongoing efforts to address governance and corruption issues in Malawi’s public sector.

Maravipost understands that the suspension is part of a broader effort to strengthen accountability and transparency within government institutions.

Chakaka Nyirenda’s tenure as AG was marked by several key decisions, including the termination of the Techno Brain contract, which was deemed to be irregular.

His suspension from the RBM is likely to raise questions about the circumstances surrounding his departure from the AG’s office.

More details are expected to emerge as the story unfolds.

The Maravi Post will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

Of Tanzanian rights group rejecticting Chakwera as mediator: A mirror reflecting Malawi’s leadership woes, Africa’s diplomatic failures

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The recent rejection of former Malawi President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera as mediator in Tanzania’s political crisis by the Tanzanian human rights organisation, Sauti ya Watanzania, resonates far beyond the borders of the East African nation.

This dismissal is not merely about one individual’s suitability; it is a profound indictment of leadership failures, governance challenges, and the shortcomings of continental bodies like the African Union (AU) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

Sauti ya Watanzania’s concerns about Dr. Chakwera’s role as a neutral mediator stem from his controversial tenure as Malawi’s president.

Under his administration, Malawi grappled with a series of economic woes, rampant corruption, and nepotism—issues that critically undermined public trust and governance.

The nation witnessed a surge in theft of public resources, with government officials, including close family members of the president, allegedly benefiting from state contracts and positions.

Chakwera’s appointment of his daughter, son in-laws, and cousins into government roles drew sharp criticism for consolidating power within a narrow circle, mirroring patterns seen in Tanzania under President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

The parallels between Chakwera and Suluhu are striking and troubling.

Suluhu ascended to power following a quiet coup d’état that saw her strong opposition contenders locked up prior to elections with tramped up charges.

Much like Chakwera, who empowered family members within his administration, Suluhu has appointed her daughter, son-in-law, and other close relatives into key government ministries.

These actions undermine the credibility of both leaders and raise serious questions about their commitment to transparent and inclusive governance—qualities essential for any credible mediator in a political crisis.

Sauti ya Watanzania’s insistence that a thorough, independent investigation into the violence and unrest following Tanzania’s October 29 presidential elections must precede any mediation is grounded in legitimate concerns.

The elections were marred by allegations of intimidation, suppression of opposition, and deadly crackdowns that reportedly claimed over 700 lives.

International observers, including the AU and SADC, faulted the electoral process for failing to meet standards of freedom, fairness, and credibility.

Yet, paradoxically, these same bodies have recognized Suluhu as Tanzania’s legitimate president.

This contradiction exposes a glaring weakness in the AU and SADC’s approach to electoral justice and political accountability.

The AU and SADC’s toothless stance in this matter undermines their credibility and raises the question of their continued relevance.

By endorsing a contested leadership without demanding meaningful accountability or reform, these organizations appear complicit in perpetuating undemocratic practices across the continent.

Their failure to take decisive action emboldens leaders to flout democratic norms and stifles the voices of citizens demanding genuine change.

Against this backdrop, Chakwera’s proposed mediation role is fraught with conflict of interest and questions about impartiality.

His administration’s documented governance challenges and the nepotistic tendencies shared with Suluhu suggest he lacks the neutrality necessary to facilitate a fair and effective dialogue in Tanzania.

The Tanzanian rights group’s rejection of his appointment is therefore not merely a political statement but a call for respect for Tanzanian sovereignty and the will of its people.

For Chakwera, this rejection should serve as a moment of reflection and humility.

Attempting to mediate a crisis in a neighbouring country while his own leadership legacy is under scrutiny would only deepen distrust and undermine the mediation process.

He must heed the Tanzanian people’s wishes and step back from this role, allowing for a mediator with unquestioned impartiality and integrity to take the helm.

The Tanzanian human rights organisation’s refusal to accept Dr. Lazarus Chakwera as mediator is justified and highlights broader issues of governance, nepotism, and democratic deficits in both Malawi and Tanzania.

It also exposes the ineffectiveness of regional bodies like the AU and SADC in safeguarding democracy and human rights.

For African leadership to progress and for conflicts to be resolved constructively, genuine commitment to transparency, accountability, and respect for citizens’ voices must take precedence over political expediency and personal interests.

Until then, the continent’s political crises will continue to fester, with mediators compromised by their own troubled legacies and regional bodies rendered powerless by their contradictions.

NFL National Anthem Singer Responds to Criticism of Her ‘Hooker’ Outfit

Singer Karina Pasian responded after she ruffled some feathers with her outfit while performing the United States national anthem on the NFL’s inaugural trip to Spain.

Pasian, 34, sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the game between the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders in Madrid on Sunday, November 16, while decked out in a sparkly black mini dress, thigh-high stockings with garters and high heels.

“It was not my intention to offend anyone,” Pasian told TMZ Sports on Tuesday, November 18. “I’m really sorry if anyone felt offended by it. But it wasn’t my intention. My intention was to have a good time. My look is super cabaret, super burlesque. That’s the aesthetic I love. I really admire that aesthetic. I just wanted to elevate the look I already have to match the occasion.”

She added, “I felt super proud and I felt great in what I chose to wear.”

“Plunging neckline, garters, and thigh-highs…for the National Anthem?” one person wrote via X. “Only the NFL could turn the Star-Spangled Banner into a runway for lingerie! What was she THINKING?”

Another wrote, “Is the woman singing the National Anthem in Madrid a stripper? WOW.”

“Great to see the sharing of sport and competition with other countries!!” one football fan shared. “Karina’s rendition of the US national anthem was lovely, but why is she dressed like a hooker?”

Pasian revealed on social media that she was wearing a vintage Marc Jacobs dress, which her stylists turned into “their own unique piece.”

“You have an enormous talent, I am super grateful to have you on my team and I couldn’t be happier with this look!!!” Pasian shared via Instagram on Tuesday.

In a separate post, Pasian — who was born in New York City but now lives in Madrid — said she had plenty of supporters to help drown out her detractors.

Who Is Hair by Chrissy’s Chrissy Rasmussen? Celebrity Clients Revealed

Hair by Chrissy’s Chrissy Rasmussen rose to online fame before viral TikTok drama took the app by storm.

The hairstylist — who has more than 27 years of experience — owns Habit Salon, which has locations in Arizona and California, and has been a destination for influencers and celebrities alike.

Rasmussen made headlines in November when a content creator known as @NotFamous808 alleged she had a negative experience at the salon, claiming, in part, that she was charged more than $4,000 for her hair, which the hairstylist barely touched. The video, which has amassed more than 28 million views, has sparked criticism from social media users who think the price is too high — especially when Rasmussen wasn’t totally present.

While Rasmussen has yet to address the drama directly, she seemingly responded with a series of videos via her TikTok Story, sharing a clip of herself working on extensions before walking away and having an employee finish. “Chrissy doing hair,” the clip was captioned. Us Weekly reached out to Rasmussen for comment.

Scroll down to learn more about Rasmussen:

Who Is Hair by Chrissy’s Chrissy Rasmussen?

Rasmussen has been in the business for nearly three decades. While reflecting on her career path, Rasmussen explained in an Iles Formula Q&A that she had thought about pursuing the hair industry — and the idea was solidified by her friend.

“One day my friend called me and said she was signing up for hair school, so I thought to myself … ‘why not.’ So to be honest I fell into it by chance,” she said. “Quickly after graduating from school, I found that there is so much satisfaction in working with people and helping people become more confident.”

She continued, “I would not say this is easy, but it is well worth it. I have been told and I love the analogy that hair dressing is a 4 year degree. Meaning, you are in school for 2 years, 3rd year you are assisting and working long hours but learning a lot. Then your 4th year, often stylists get on the floor, but it is still a year of learning. Then it is truly starting that 5th year after your 4 year degree where you feel comfortable and start to build a clientele. In my case, I assisted for 3 years, but that was more common 20 years ago.”

What Services Does Hair by Chrissy’s Chrissy Rasmussen’s Salon Offer?

The salon offers services including cuts, extensions and coloring. “Habit Salon has been trusted by tens of thousands of men and women to enhance their natural beauty through extensions plus our unique color and toning techniques,” a description on the website reads.

Habit Salon also provides lessons for aspiring hair stylists, where they can learn the “habit extension method” and more.

“While being in the hair industry for over 20 years we have learned what works for us and what hasn’t. Our belief here at Habit when it comes to any type of knowledge we obtain is sharing,” the website reads. “We don’t believe we do it the right way, we believe how we do things works and if it works for us it could work for you. So our education is completely designed around sharing what works rather than lecturing or teaching in a traditional way.”

Who Are Hair by Chrissy’s Chrissy Rasmussen’s Celebrity Clients?

Rasmussen shares before-and-after videos of her clients via her social media accounts, including the likes of influencers Dixie D’Amelio, Allison Kuch and Bachelor Nation’s Madison Prewett.
